Although most of the pearls you receive each week are clinical in nature, it is always vitally important to remain aware of prescription programs that can save your patients significant money. |

Bausch + Lomb has paired up with Walgreens and other independent pharmacies throughout the U.S. to provide greater access to their most frequently prescribed medications throughout 2016. During the 2016 spring allergy season, branded allergy medications—including the anti-histamine/mast cell stabilizer Bepreve (bepotastine besilate, Bausch + Lomb) and the corticosteroid Alrex (loteprednol etabonate, Bausch + Lomb)—were made available for a copay of just $10! This special allergy medication program expired in June; however, Bausch + Lomb's complete line of branded ophthalmic drugs will be available for $35 throughout the rest of the year.
