From the It-Had-To-Happen-Someday Dept. come pierced eyeglasses. Actually, the eyeglasses arent pierced; the person wearing them is. A stainless steel barbell is inserted through the skin of the nose. The lenses, which are fit with tiny but powerful magnets, cling to the ends of the barbell. Not only does it follow the trend of tattoos and piercings entering the mainstream, but it keeps your glasses from slipping down your nose, says artist, inventor and human guinea pig James Sooy (pictured here). He plans for the product to be available online in May or June at about $75 to $100. For more, go to www.piercedglasses.com.
