If you’re hoping to boost your multifocal contact lens sales, you’re in luck: Alcon recently launched an ad campaign that touts the modality’s benefits to increase public awareness. The campaign, called the “See Near and Far,” explains how Dailies Total1 Multifocals “give patients clear, comfortable and seamless vision” both at distance and up close, Alcon says. Although contact lenses are generally well-known among consumers, multifocals are a “low-awareness category,” the company says.
The campaign will include a television spot that will run on ABC, NBC, CBS and ESPN (among others) throughout 2018, and will also feature national print and digital media, according to Alcon. The ads will encourage consumers to visit an eye care professional for more information.
