Labor Day 2018 and a Reflection

As has become traditional on Labor Day, we want to wish all of our readers a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend. I also wanted to take a moment to share our profound sadness at the passing of Arizona Senator John McCain. Shannon and I had the good fortune of meeting and speaking with him a few years ago. He was warm and approachable, yet intense. What left the greatest impression on us was his lack of self-importance. Regardless of your political leanings, John McCain’s honesty, lifelong dedication to serving our country and willingness to stand up for what he believed in is something all who hold public office should aspire to. - GBA
