Models of Practice | The Physical Space August 2017 Send Comments to the Editor Create a Focal Point Behind the Front Desk By WO One way to truly wow your patients with a stellar first impression is to create a stunning focal point behind your front desk. How would you make your statement in your new or remodeled office space: with a bold color, stone or tile or perhaps out of wood? That's what Dr. Monica Johnsonbaugh did when she decided to have her logo burned into repurposed wood to create a unique feature. Dr. Beth Groninger picked out the individual stones used in the spa-like wall in her office, and Dr. Jenn Sowers saw an opportunity to create a more visually appealing backsplash to her reception desk when she removed a wall of paper medical records.
