Putting the “Family” in Family Practice

Optometry school prepares ODs to provide excellent clinical care. And more schools and programs are working with ODs to make smart business decisions, too. But partnering or working with or even hiring a family member can result in great synergy—or create tremendous family tension, as anyone who has divorced from a practice partner knows all too well.
