Starting next week, the public will be hearing about the need for routine eye care in a series of new commercials from the ‘Think About Your Eyes’ (TAYE) campaign of the Vision Council. The commercials will air during the August 1 and 8 airings of America’s Got Talent on NBC, as well as on 27 cable stations, including FX, Comedy Central, and USA, and select ESPN MLB airings through mid-September. This is the first new advertising material released since the launch of TAYE in 2007. “The commercials, developed after months of research and creative development, reach the public on an emotional level, celebrating sight and everything it brings to people’s lives,” a press release noted.
